The good news I got a 47" on Hudson yesterday. The bad, I know I'm going to replace my net (regular one) with a Stow-Master, cause I don't have enough room in the boat. After I got the hooks out reached into the net to get her (with Kevlar glove on) she did the death spiral, put a tooth into my thumb, thru the Kevlar glove. Needless to say there was alot of my blood everywhere in the boat. Would getting a boga grip be the way to go. If this clamps onto the jaw, does this not do any harm to them? Now the worst part, I measured her and was turning around for my partner to get a photo. She did a head shake, got loose from me and slid out the back of the boat. I watched all of this like it was in slow motion, biggest fish and no picture. The only one that knows this is my partner, none of the guy's at work will believe me. This was my biggest Muskie to date. She did swim away very good. The ugly is me!! Any help from anyone is appreciated.

That was a great fish for Hudson. Many big fish there. Wish I could off seen a picture. About the Boga. I first used one on the Detroit river with another member and have used one evey time form then. Great for my younger fishermen also. My boy has caught 2 this year and the boga is great for everyone. Caugh fish from 30 to 48 with this with no problem and feel safe. Dont buy a cheap one, get a real boga $100 +. well worth it.
