Thanks to Jim Watts for putting on the Anchor Bay outing. Great lunch and a great time getting to hang out for a while and shoot the breeze.

Thanks guys

It was great to meet some new people in the club. I was glad the rain held off. The boat was fixed just a air pocket in the oil reserve tank cause the warning light to keep going off.

Bob would love to get out with ya sometime.

Looking forward to the ovid outing. See you all there.

Jim

Team Schultz got two, nothing big, and I heard of one other fish caught when we met at lunch. I haven't heard if anyone did anything after lunch.

I also got my finger chewed on by a fish, again. Dad watched it happen and is sure it was trying to bite me. That only begins the story… I'm sitting at work today thinking that it's weird that one of the holes in the top of my finger hurts and the others don't. Of course, I've got to mess with it because it feels like there's a sliver in it. I squeeze it gently and a friggin tooth pops out!!! Not a whole tooth but about 1/8" of a broken off tooth.

Maybe we should start calling you Windel… I have no doubt that they do it intentionally. The one I had bite my thumb turned its eye, looked at it, and then rolled and chomped.

Tim D and I had an upper 40's up twice. My bait was in her mouth, but no hooks found flesh. Tim also had a decent fish through the 8 twice, but she wouldn't eat. We raised a few other smaller fish, mostly in the first hour of light.

Trolled all morning, no rips. We went back out casting after lunch, lost one around 40", caught one pike. Sunday, we raised a couple small ones, and had another around 40" take a swing and miss, also had some huge smallies follow, but nothing in the net.
Had a great time, thanks to everyone involved. I have to get over there more often, love all that elbow room compared to my usual puddles.
Thanks again,
Ken M.

Will,
By chance were you scratching that fish's chin as well?

No scratching involved… they like that, it probably wouldn't have snapped at me if I would have scratched its chin first.
