I would like to fish the "T" this year. I was wondering from guys that have fished it, where to have a chance at "better success" per say?? It's 17 miles from Lake Superior to the lower falls. Can you make it all/most of the way up to the falls? I have heard of people hiking with canoes to fish in between the falls also. A friend of mine says that's some of the best muskie fishing in the river (between the falls). Or go fish above the upper falls? He said there is a launch in Hulbert, an honor system launch on somebodys property pay/park around $5 or so. Thanks Nick

In summer water levels you can boat all the way up to within sight of the falls, just one small riffle/rapids keeping you from the actual pool below the falls.

The funny thing about the river is that even though it goes through lots of changes in size, habitat & morphology in its 60ish miles of musky water, the fishing is quite consistent throughout. Really can't narrow it down for ya. Its all good fishing, the more you fish it the more this becomes apparent.
