I just pulled the trigger on a 9ft.xh tackle industries rod on ebay for $68.00. Anyone own one or use one before? I'm gonna pair it with a revo winch to throw dbl 10's and regular sized dawgs. Think this combo will serve me well?

I bought that exact one at the MI Muskie Show for $85, but havent used it yet. Seems very well made. I got the one-piece grip.

Dlw, it was the one piece grip. Chemi, I also paid 20$ for shipping so you did better than me by a few bucks. Thanks for the input fellas.

I've got the 8' XH and it works great for the 10s and ok for the dawgs. I really like the extended handle option. Never knew how much easier it was to handle the "high water displacement" baits until I used this rod. Defiantly makes a difference, with that longer handle pushed against your side, taking some of the stress off your hands. Great company/guy to work with too if you have any issues or questions.

You will definitely be happy with a TI rod and you won't find a better customer service guy than James!

got a 9' mega heavy and a 9' medium heavy if anybody wants a sweetheart deal!! One season of use and I've rigidly attached the long handle sections.
