I didn't want to hi-jack the boat post, but saw something in there from Swanzey. Talking about being in the sun for 12 to 13 hours. Guys wear your hats, long sleeve shirts, plenty of sun screen. You don't want skin cancer, no matter how much you tan you can still get it. And you don't want to look like that goofy woman that lives in a tanning booth.
yea i always apply 50 even though they say putting on 50 is the same as everything else.
My dad has had melonoma twice, so i know the risks and have already had a chunk removed from the side of my face that would of turned to cancer.
im pretty good about it compared to a lot of my friends, or the girls i know that tan all the time
Any fly shop will have them as well. Not only are they good sun protection, but they also work well in cold weather keeping the cooler air off your neck. They also help against mosquitoes on warm summer nights.
The only negative is you look like one of them hipster fly fisherman that wear them as a fashion accessory.
The Buff, Hat, Long Sleeves, and Sun Gloves when I'm in the roasting south.
