Okay fellas,

We discussed this earlier and there was some interest so lets get started. On January the fifth I will post a few questions related to the first two chapters of the book by Buck Perry.

These will be entry level questions and farily easy to answer but I want to get everyone involved that wants to be and get them used to the format before increasing the level of discussion.

Here are the guidelines–

Keep all answers relevant and based on the book itself. We can discuss other things on another thread and dont need to muddy up this one.

If you have additional questions generated by the discussion send them to me and I will post them in an orderly manner, What I dont want is to get fourteen discussions going at once. For those who have read the book several times or are ahead of the group try not to use information from later chapters, this confuses the discussion and makes it difficult for people to follow along.

My intent is to stretch this out until close to the opener by first discussing the facts of the book, then applying them to specific instances with a "here is your scenario what do you do" type of question. Then I will open it to people to ask questions about instances they have encountered or that they anticipate encountering.

Hopefully this will be a brush up for some and an eye opener for others.

If you have not read the book, you are welcome to read along, but please do not ask a bunch of questions about things that are book specific. I will assume that when someone references a scatter point or migration route that they have read the book. These terms will not be defined for those who have not. Post that I consider idiotic will be pulled. This is intended as a serious in-depth dissection of this book and the ideas it presents.

If there are any questions about the format or the intent of this discussion post them now, you have a week for general Q and A then it is down to business.
