Any tips on fishing this lake? Lure suggestions? Have a friend spending next week up there in the U.P.
Any info. would be greatly appreciated!
He is from Indiana. He said if I could help him out he would show me some of his favorite lakes in Indiana.
I will share my results!!

There are some really big fish in the lake, but it has very few fish overall. If you see a fish or two in a week of fishing, you were there at a good time of the year. I live a 25 minutes from the launch and only fish it once or twice a year because it usually doesn't show me any fish.

I have been there twice and had one blow up on top water. But If I went back I would go during the week at first light and would troll it with planer boards and as many rods as were legal and even toss in a couple of sliders. The vast mid depth flat has Muskies through out it but they are impossible to contact casting. Using a wide pattern of trolling is in my opinion the only way to fish this lake. Mike and Michelle
