A last minute change of plans allowed me to make it to the 'outing'. The lake was a ghost town! Nobody fishing or even boating hardly. Fished from noon to 7:45 with Ron, saw exactly as many muskies as we did musky fisherman (never crossed paths with you successful anglers). Lake looked great and beautiful day to be on the water though.

I'd suggest moving this date to the second weekend in september.
Having it on the weekens with the youth hunt, EAS in souther michigan,
and the UP duck opener is definately going to hurt the turnout.
It's been like this for a few years now.

The youth hunt was a week later last year. I thought we were safe with the earlier date.
