I posted this as a dam report not a fishing report.,
Ross Lake – Low waters, good fishing
Ross Lake is down about 8 feet to allow for repairs to voids found under the spillway.
Inspectors found voids below the spillway, which led to the city lowering the dam as a precautionary measure.
It is not an emergency situation, said city manager Don Doering, but the initial lowering was done for safety purposes. Further lowering was done to allow for repairs.
