Reminds me of my first 'ski back in 1979. I had snagged a GIANT leech off the bottom with a bass crankbait and it had completely wrapped itself around the lure. I had to use needle nose pliers to remove the huge, slimy thing and decided to use it as a trailer on a Johnson's Silver Minnow (spoon). First cast got a 36 incher. Then I started to buy all these big, fancy muskie lures…..
That big leech very much looked like the tail of a bulldawg today!
