Replacement bag for nets

I have a Frabill net that is a little smaller than I would prefer for muskies. I am able to keep the fish in the water while in the net but it does take some positioning. My question is: would I be able to buy a replacement bag from a larger net like a big kahuna and put it on my smaller hoop? I only have a 14' boat so to buy a net that big would take up a lot of space.

You should be able to get any replacement net from Frabil. You would probably want the one for the 32"x41" PowerCatch Big Game Landing Net. It isn't going to be as big as the kahuna (which is huge maybe even overkill).

You could also get a Beckman finsaver bag that will fit on any hoop.

I have first-hand experience with this: I put a bigger bag on the Stowmaster net that I bought at last year's Banquet. It doesn't "bunch up" around the hoop as I feared, AND it also allows it to be a deeper bag than it would be on the larger hoop it was designed for, a definite plus when de-hooking (and tagging, when I'm on Ovid) in my opinion.

Not that there are any muskies in Ovid… "><url url="[Permission to view this media is denied]
