So the media is reluctant to publish any information on this story but apparently a 54.8 pound fish that would break the state record was gill netted by tribal fisherman on Mille Lacs. Needless to say the Minnesota muskie fishing community is not too happy. I had no idea Mille Lacs had such heavy netting pressure.
