Alot of you don't know that my wife and I have raised and shown dogs for over 30 years. We have Whippets (smaller version of a Greyhound). If you have ever seen a dog show, I was one of those guy's wearing a jacket and tie showing them. What I am getting to is we have a young dog, just over year old. About a few weeks ago when I brought him in to go to work, I put him in his airline crate. About 10 minutes later he had a seziure. Called the wife and she thought he got into something in the yard. He started having more and got him to our vet and they kept him for 4 days. Ran all kinds of test and put him on anti-seziure medicine. He hasn't had any more. So we got the results today. He has Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever!! I have to go tommorrow and pick up the medicine for that. I guess he's on that for about 4 weeks and has to be weined off of the anti-seziure medicine. We also have taked to someone that had there dogs on Frontline and the dog came down with the samething. Probaly the tick got on the dog bit it, feel off and died, but gave the dog the disease. I get checked by my doctor every year for Lime and anything else, cause I spend alot of time outside. Every time I mow, I come in strip down in the bathroom and check myself. My buddy's wife in Indiana came down with Lime. So I guess I'm saying check your pets (even using Frontline) and yourselves.

Be careful using Frontline. I O.D'd my Chihuahua on it once. Gave her just a little too much, and I thought she was going to die. Literally. Within 5 minutes, she started shaking violently, her eyes kept rolling around, then she collapsed. And a bunch of bumps started swelling up on her neck and back. I had to bathe her for almost an hour straight using straight dish soap to try to cut down on any medicine that was still on her skin, and soak out was was absorbed.
