This is kinda a hi-jack of the family membership post from the general section and you'll see why I put it down here. JT my wife is afarid of hooks, let alone teeth. So I don't know if this will be a one time thing and maybe she'll come along, watch and read a book. When I've taken her out before. I'd bait the hook, take fish off and about two hours later I would fish and she would read.

So hear is the real question for you guy's with wives or girlfriends. Never fails when I take her, as soon as we get to the spot to fish, I hear "I've got to Pee". So now it's all the way back to the boat lauch. If I take her to Hudson (No Wake) this ain't going to happen. What I was thinking is getting her a pancho, have her throw this on and bringing a bucket along. So what to do? Embarassed

Wait.. I'm clicking on the image! I want to learn more! [smilie=laugh2.gif] I guess the poncho thing would work ok. Or if it's nice enough, she can always just jump in! I guess I don't have to worry about the no-wake thing. Any waters I'll be taking Amy on won't have that.

Livewells make decent toilets for women. Leave the drain open, start the pump, etc.

Wait… this is important!! Make sure you clarify what she means when she says "I need to use the bathroom"… the livewell is ONLY if she's got to P.

Will, you are the Shell answer man!! I didn't think of that DAH!! That will work out real good. My pump for the live-well died last fall. So I guess I'll have to replace that, I think it's back by the gas tank, hope I don't have to get to much stuff out of the way. As far as the torpedos, honey you'll have to take on shore. Always carry TP in the boat.

Check the pump for the make/model. Most are able to replace the pump without having to pull the through hull connection.

A large cup or again the live well will work. Karen and I have spent many 10 hour days on the water so I usually try and accomodate her by stopping at shore once or twice during the day.

They also make portable urinals with female adaptors.

I prefer to use the same theory I do regarding banquets. Don't take her. Solves the whole problem.

I have found that the amount of money spent on something is relative to the amount of grief it saves me later. Hence…

Or some combination there of. I can always find something to do for a few minutes and most of the places I fish un inhabited shoreline is a non issue, I dont care if I have to put it up in the boat its worth it.
