Just wondering if anyone has been up to sleepy hollow anytime in the last few days. With the warm weather we have been having I was thinking Ovid might be open water and fishable. I was thinking I could maybe go home to Lansing and grab the boat quick for one more day on the water this weekend.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I dont really want to make the drive only to find a frozen over lake. Thank you.

I'll vote 'no'. 😀 Maybe Duke, Pete, or Tom have seen it first hand, but I'm going to guess that being such a shallow, stagnant, mud puddle with a lot of wind protection that it's proabably got too much ice to break, but not enough to walk on. [smilie=2c.gif]

It was not open last weekend. Haven't heard since then.

Even with the warm temps Tu-Wed, what very little open water there had been on Murray had frozen when I checked it at noon Wed. Highly doubtful Ovid would be better.

I figured it was just wishful thinking that it would open back up this time of the year but with these 50+ degree days this week and this rain today I was thinking maybe, just maybe I would get one more crack at it.
