Just curious on these outings.IMHO…..even the intermediate outing with driving up Friday, fishin Friday and saturday, driving back home sunday morning, was to much work, more driving, more launching, more puttin the boat back on the trailer, than I would care to do in about two days time.I know LSC is "the place to be"…but a one dayer..example..drive friday morn,3 AM,drive back friday night,or even stay till sat morn..is still too much for me.

I would like to see some longer examples of stays for instance…

Make plans for intermediate…gone on to the forum and let people know you`re going….but it`s not a advertised"group outing".Who shows, who shows..communicate if you want to hook up with others grub,etc..

Maybe a couple cottages get rented on LOTW,GeoBay…..go on to the forum and say hey"where going..still 4 cottages left,etc..

I really think that outings are not held in very many places where I want to fish except for the Intermediate chain and Lake st. Clair. I attended the Outing last year at Ovid and it was fun. I fished the Ice out in 2005 it was fun and the ice up in 2006 . I really like adventures to new places. I would be up for a spring trip to like Leesville in Ohio. Or a fall trip to the Cisco chain/Thousand Island lakes. I want the ice up Challunge back at Hudson or Thornapple. To me an outing should be a vacation from jetskis and traffic. Good food and company away from the masses. There are so many cool places to go. Mike and Michelle
