I have some old FAV wood baits w/the metal diving lip which are screwed in(2 sm.phillips head)to the lure(rizzo divers,scampers,etc..)but the damn things won`t run right anymore due to wear in the wood and the holes I guess??I keep tightening down the screws, but the holes have worn, and they eventually start blowin out ,plus you can actually wiggle the lip.

Should I try some larger screws?Or are they junk??Most lips nowadays are of the plastic form……should I stay away from metal lip diving baits in the future??

I have some stainless screws that might fix that.I think they are larger and a little longer than the Hi Fins screws.

Hey NASTAGATOR, Its time jump out of the past and put a fut in the present… You're not a grandpa yet so put his lures away. Wink
