Got the new Okuma rod today, looks nice. It's got that split grip, I'll have to get used to that. Saw a little sticker on the butt, made in China, Uck!! What do these go for new? Got to get a tip and glue for the old one fix it and it will be a 7'8", any ideas?

Janns netcraft in Maumee just take it to the store they will fix you up. The okumas are running around 115-120$

Yes or order a new tip from them and tie and epoxy it on. I lost a insert on my rod tip I replaced it with a solid tip from Jann's. I used 30lb braid as thread wrap and 5 min epoxy it looks great and isn't coming off.
