ya i can say ive heard terrible things about ABU record reels and mine have been perfect for 2 seasons, just a few wear and tear type things, but no problems.

Still dead set on Revo's, I don't care if they break every other month. They are that great IMO, better than my Calcutta and every other reel I've owned. Lew's, I always wanted one when I was little and David Fritts was the crankbait master LOL.

I have a Toro 50 5:4:1 in an Okuma Rod and it is the most comfortable setup I have ever used. The rod was a door prize from MMA 2 years ago. The only complaint is that I cant burn a few of my favorite lures fast enough but is comfortable for for DC's

I have a Toro 60 6:4:1 which with faster retrieves but havent found the right rod for it yet, doesnt fit my hand right, and the setup is much heavier with the gander ex heavy 8'6" rod.

The pflueger reel (banquet reel) I have is a great reel but the Toro 50 is still more comfortable.

All 3 of these reels have taken much abuse with releases slamming shut mid cast etc and have survived almost 2 seasons of early spring till ice fishing. I have my eyes on a certain shimano reel I would love to try though…
