I got a chance to head up north for a few days this week. I'll be within driving distance of Budd, Elk, and Intermediate. I'm looking for advice on which lake(s) to concentrate on and if I should troll the deeper stuff or work the weeds casting.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks – Heavyhound

If you just want to see a few fish, go to Budd, it's no wake from daylight until 11am, then from 7am to dark again. but inbetween there it'll be crazy this week with boats.

if I were you I would fish Intermediate, but go and fish the chain
, benway, hanley,,, you'll have minimal boat traffic, and a chance at
a nice fish,

elk will be a needle in a haystack.

hope that helps.

Thanks for the help. I ended up fishing Budd for the first time. The water was so clear it really surprised me. (I'm used to fishing Hudson.) Budd was fun to cast.
