This was the last clip i didn't delete off the camera since i didn't have any action out there saturday.
The camera wasn't tilted down all the way so that is why you can't see the my lure come back, but in other footage you could see my retrieves very well.
Ill be sure to post good footage as the year goes on.
yea i would say the only drawback to the camera is when you are by yourself it is very hard to tell how to tilt your camera because it has no view finder, and the fact that it is on your head.
After a while i would forget that it was on my head. I did use my cell phone to get a reflection of how the camera was positioned.
This week i am going to try tilting the camera down and recording before i go fishing so i can be sure how to have it positioned on my head
Cool!!! I have to assume when you have action footage you are going to kick over into some "Master of Puppets" or something, right!!?
Oh by the way- if that were me up there and I happened to have a giant follow or strike, I'm sure somehow there would be a "PLANO OVERBOARD" situation… just as a warning! Although I'm sure it would float for a little while??? Never tried it!
ha, that was matt's tackle box, the wind blew the top off it on saturday and made it rock like it was gonna fall off lol. Other than that it didn't budge all day.
I usually keep my justencase box sitting below the casting deck, or i set it up on the middle of my casting deck so if i get a fish, i have a platform for my camera to setup on.
Another side note about the camera, is that the case it comes with is water proof up to 180 ft. So on releases i will be doing some under water release shots that should be really cool as well.
