Hi guys, we just re watched the first season of Musky Hunter second episode. Saric fishes with Tom Sullivan and Tom catches two monsters in stained water on a smaller buc tail. This lure had two yellow or Chartruse blades and what looked like White deer hair. Anyone know what bucktail he was using? I looked at the MG lindy and could not find it. Mike
Just watched it. You sure that wasn't marabou? I'll have to pause it and check again. Didn't even see 2 blades… But the lettering looked like Mepps. I'll double check. It seems their go to colors on bright days with stained water is a white with chartruese or lime green. I have a couple dawgs in that color combo.
We replayed that lure over and over and did see two blades. Saric had one at the end with yellow grub tail as well. Not sure if it was the same bait or not. One thing was certain. It was a small buck tail and they pounded two big fish on it. So I want some of them ha ha ha . I did pm Saric at Musky hunter to see if he remembers. Mike
After further replays of the video I see that Sullivan used two different lures. The first is a double bladed colorado with chartruse blades and either white marabou or hair. The second big fish he got was the single bladed bait with the chartruse grub trailor. Most likely the one they advertise. Its the first one I want to find. I found the second one. There is no lettering one the first lure. Mike
