1. How to tie my own leaders, both wire and flourocarbon and what materials and tools are need to do it.
2. How to tune/alter baits to get different actions and learn what types of actions are preferred or work best in different situations.
3. A seminar on seasonal movements and on cold front tactics and also suspended muskies.
4. A seminar on where to find and how to catch the bigger fish.
Tom
I would like to see a class on casting and makeing lures work. My casting skills suck.
Leader makeing would also be a good thing. Teaching new people how to make them so they they lose a fish and lure.
Trolling tips I see alot of people ask about speed and lure depth. And set ups what rods reels rod holders. A lot of newbees are in need of this.
Lure painting this would just be cool to see.
Thanks LeMay OUt
Okay I will go a step further. How about we combine DU' trip idea and the Musky school idea. Kind of like the MH stuff, a week or even 3 to 4 days on the water. Daily draw for boat partners with awards etc… at the end of each and every day there would be a what is working and what is not seminar and demonstration time. Does not need to be a real exotic location, could be done on lake "whatever" but I would think something bigger with better potential would be ideal. I would de down with LSC for a week or Intermediate chain, Black/Cheboygan river/Black River?? Book lodging at a group rate and charge $$xxx.99 a head. Take the money that is above food/lodging cost and put it straight to the fish fund. This could be similar to the "buy a seat with Will" idea but reach more people and make more money. Just an idea…

I think this is a great idea! Every time I check the Muskies Inc Lunge Log I see Will Schultz, Michelle King, and Mike King (He's almost as good as Michelle) ranked as some of the best Muskies Anglers in the Country I wonder why the club doesn’t have a clinic.
I do think cost should be a consideration so that younger members and youth aren't excluded.

They cram a TON into one day and I'm not keen on all the overlapping seminars.
For an all day seminar like that with food, I would pay $25.
Also to hire Will to teach me how to fish LSC, I would consider paying the $500 if I could take another person and split the cost because it isn't in my budget to pay the full $500, the only thing is, to hire someone and get your money's worth, you can't just show up and fish, you must be observant of what is going on in the big picture and why you are on fish. You aren't on fish due to just being in Will's boat, he understands the movements fish make and knows that if they aren't ON the spots there is a reason why and that the fish will still be somewhere on that travel route between the structure and their home range. Maybe you will watch Will catch fish all day but once you apply what you observe, you should be productive on most bodies of water. So really, it shouldn't just be going fishing with Will, it should be more of an investment in your future fishing success. I am not advertising for Will, but that is the sort of stuff that can't really be taught in a classroom but must be learned on the water.
I have learned the most this year by fishing with Kingfisher and Joe Bednar and have had success every time with both of them. Seems like fishing more isn't always necessary, just fishing smarter and using the tools that are available to us is the key.

Someone has been doing their homework and reading "the book".
