Tyler Schultz’s friends probably thought
he was telling a “fish tale” about the
muskie he caught the day before his
12th birthday. Anglers do tend to exaggerate
the size of their catches, after all. But Tyler’s
story was true.

Really, no plug for MMA? [smilie=attention.gif]In all seriousness, nice article.
There was lots of MMA mentioned, in depth really but it wasn't used. It's funny really, regardless of how clear you are when doing these interviews so often the things that end up in "quotes" isn't exactly what was said. I know for a fact that I never said muskies have to worry about BEARS as a predator.
Great article for kids…..or anyone about the sport of fishing with a human interest side. I suspect this account of Tyler and his experience muskie fishing could do more to spark interest in this sport among young readers (and their fathers) compared to an in depth narrative about MMA or fishing mechanics. The presentation style makes for an easy ready, just what many people are looking for to escape our "complicated" world when they have a moment to relax. At least, it was for me!
