I was wondering the same thing about Ovid? It's been pretty warm & rainy this week. Hoping there is some open water tomorrow afternoon.

I ended up driving over to Murraay to take a peek. Looked to be about 60-70% ice still. A few open areas but not much.

That's what I was afraid of. I'm going to check out Ovid tomorrow. Hopefully the little bit of current there will help.

My wife wanted to go for a ride this morning so we drove around Murray on Causeway Dr. The west ramp is open and I'd say half of the west arm is fishable. The east ramp is open too, though there's some ice. About 1/3 of the east arm is fishable. And the conditions will only improve today and tomorrow.

Wind has opened up the east side pretty well. Area between causeway and north end still iced up so you can not get from one arm to the other.

Ovid was completely open today. Water temps were about 34 degrees. Fished from 1:30 till dark didn't have any action.

Campau is wide open. I would've thought is anything, Murray would be open, and Campau locked. Maybe it was from all the snow on Christmas Eve? It was snowing harder by Belding it seemed, and only rain by me.

Murray is so deep it takes longer to freeze, but once it's frozen it takes longer to warm back up.
