A muskie was harvested in the last few days from between the pierheads at Muskegon. The story will hit tomorrow. With the help of Tom Hamilton (thanks for tracking it down Tom) the fish will be checked for a PIT tag and hopefully tissue sampled. If I can be there when this happens I'll take some photos. Why is this fish important? The Green Bay fish have been showing up around our ports of Lake Michigan and confirming these fish is helpful to MMA, MI-DNR and WI-DNR.
