Thinking about selling my Mr.pike 2003,yammy 115 4 banger, and getting something else used????Pleas give me some advice,or steer me in the right direction,or tell me not to.
After fishin outta mikeys Targa 17,loaded (not me,the boat),was in awe of how much casting deck space there was, storage, and etc…The only thing I like about my boat is the looks,a nice clean/dry/smooth ride, and the yammy, and large main section, that is better for trolling.
Have over 22k in mine, fairly loaded(the boat),AP,X-15mt,berts,etc.Lookin for more storage, castin deck space,etc..and maybe getting out of a boat payment quicker.Thinkin crestliners or bass turd trackers, maybe an older proV or something with more of the things I want.Don`t know what it`s worth(Mr.piker) right now probably 18-19k,but could maybe get into a 10,000 or so used boat?????????

LOL!! Your having buyers remorse (though this should have kicked in a couple months after your purchase)… particularly common in boat owners.
IMO – It's already parked in your garage, make it work for you. Besides, it depreciated by about $4000 the day you drove it off the lot. There are ways to improve your storage deck space.
You've got me confused though… I think that Mike's Targa and your MP have very similar set ups with regard to the casting deck/storage and interior space.
You're also probably envious of the $$$$$ he saved by not paying an extra $5000 for a tin can that says LUND on the side.
Don't get your panties in a bunch… unless it's glass it's a TIN CAN.
You never said what was better about the Targa except some rambling that was hardly coherent. Are you talking casting deck in the front or rear? Storage below deck or just floor space?
According to the floorplan on the websites the layout looks pretty similar. Except for the stupid splashwell that lund uses, it almost looks like the same boat. I know Mike's Targa is a little different than this photo, but not much.
BTW – I like the MP and other Lunds, I like the Targa and I like Crestliner. I just happen to own a Targa but I don't think it's perfect. I've still never seen a perfect muskie boat, then again what's perfect for me might not be perfect for someone else. As with any boat we're stuck dealing with things we don't like. I would honestly rather fish out of an 18' Bass Boat but it's not always practical.

No panties…..just goin commando today
They are NUTHIN alike in terms of space and storage. Both front and back casting decks are way better and easily 1/3 larger.Storage is completely different.Floor storage and rod storage.Trackers have nice top opening compartments with tons of storage.(2)A 7 1/2-8' rod storage down the middle up to the bow.Lund storage I have to get on my knees or pracically lay down to jimmy rods back in..only one side(passenger).drivers side has enough room for a bottle of whiskey or two,and a fire extinguisher(may come in handy).that`s it.Three could possibly cast in the front of the tracker,2 maybe in the lund .but I would probably kill the person.Back casting deck of the tracker, two comfortably.lund only one on the tight rope of carpet.Oh yeah..I do like my gunnels though….Tracker doesn`t even have gunnels…
You`re right I`m sorry………..your gunnels/sides go straight down.Mikes is like the old mr.pikes and crestliners, the inside box…drivers compartment,trolling/driving area is smaller, but you can walk completely around on the carpeted rod lockers,to front and back…..I forgot yours has nice caroeted gunnels,
Your tracker still looks nice for a 93'…..
