Caught a 40"er without makin a cast. Took my uncle on his first musky trip, he brought the fish up and to the boat. He wasnt payin attention and didnt give it a good chance on the figure eight. He thought the fish had left and fired out another cast. I saw her go under the boat, and stuck my bait in the water. Second turn, she ate. Wish he would have got her, but oh well, lol. I'm never gonna let him forget her, either. 😈

OK, Nstagator how about this?
Things that were memorable in my boat in 2005:
– over 250 fish landed
– an eleven fish day with an average size of 44.75”
– more than 25 days on the water with four or more muskies landed
– catching a 50” then loosing a 50” two minutes later
– saying this bait is going to catch a PIG, then catching a 52 on it five minutes later
– saying that I need payback for loosing a mid-50, then a minute later putting a 51.5 in the net
– loosing a 51-52” within the first few casts of the St Clair opener
– hooking and then loosing a muskie on December 31st 2005
– knowing, as it's happening, that none of it really matters…
Things that were memorable and really mattered in 2005:
– being able to fish with Tyler
– being able to fish with my Dad

For me it would have to be Jake's 52 incher. That will for ever be burned into my memory! We didn't make it out as much as we thought we would, but most trips produced. Just being in the boat with the kids was great, we always find something to laugh about. 😀 They have really come around the last few years.
