We all should be extremely grateful that we have a knowlegeable, articulate and passionate spokesman like Will to be our voice. Thanks, Will!

Yes and without making MMA look like a selfish "special interest" group.
Management decisions need to made based on biology, not feelings and Will does an excellent job promoting that.

Thanks Will.

Great responses, Will. Although we all "feel" that we "want" more bigger muskies, it is also backed up by biological data. That is the big difference in how our management plan is set up.

Good job Will! Your responses are well stated and stay in line with the sound biological data in our proposal.

OK guys, that's enough. I'm only doing my part for Michigan muskies.

Yes Will, we appreciate what you do and that's why you are president of MMA. The MDNRE also appreciates all the donations and support of MMA as a whole to keep the Michigan muskie program alive during this decade of budget shortfall. That is far more than the darkhouse organization has ever contributed to Michigan's fishery.

Does anybody else find this MDAA proposal to be a WONDERFUL thing, as I do?

Hopefully when the DNRE folks see the letter, they read it something like this:
"I'm wrong about this. I'm incorrect about that. I have bad ideas I want you to adopt. I wish to do harm to this species. My suggestions are based upon misinformation and disinformation."

Is there anything better than the MDAA saying it themselves? Assuming the recipients of the proposal have a fair understanding of the lives of muskies, what a beautiful thing this could be!

Will, I don't mean to diminish the importance of your responses. Keep up the great work!

I'm sure the fisheries biologists at MDNRE see right through it, but I worry about the NRC, which are political appointees with nominally no expertise, right?

EXACTLY my first thought. Many in the DNRE already suspected Holmes to be a fool…but now that he's submitted that jibberish I'm pretty sure all doubt has been removed!
