I'm curious as to results anyone has had, or heard about on Mona regarding muskies. I've fished it 7-8 times since it's been planted. Can catch bass, pike, and an occasional walleye, but have never caught or seen a muskie. Thank you to whoever responds.

That's the only one I haven't heard anything about. The 13 and 14 fish should be showing up.

I've seen one picture of a small one from there and heard rumors of a handful of others. Its on my list of lakes to fish more. Mona has a ton of potential as a muskie lake. My hope for all the rivermouth lakes is that improved size at stocking in the future will see better survival.

I have fished it twice for muskies and have not had any contacts. I do fish it often for bass. I’m looking forward to fishing it more this year for muskies since it’s only 15 minutes from my house. I have 3 reports of muskies caught in Bruce’s & Lloyd’s bayous by friends fishing for bass, but I have also not heard of anything out of Mona.

Tried to fish Mona last year but was pushed off by rain, on the list for this year as well as Muskegon and White. Being near the Grand I've spent time in Bruce's, bayous near Indian Channel, and Spring lake. Most of the contact reported form others chatting it up with here and there has been in Spring lake and walleye guys in the river. So far its been only a small fish in the fall of 2016 in Bruce's, 1 follow in spring 2017, and a 40" fish in Spring Lake last September. Macatawa has givin up some fish trolling, the most recent was a fish following up Scott Williams in the lower 40" range. That's been it for me on the drowned river mouth lakes so far. Curious to hear other reports coming in…..
