August 08, 2011

Some time last week, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer Steve Walter reported a dead muskie discovered on Lake Waconia in Carver County. “The reason for death was a large muskrat lodged in its mouth", according to the DNR’s weekly code enforcement log.

From late summer, we fish Waconia when we visit the in-laws.

I like the June 27 article when the young kid caught a pike and had a 52" muskie t-bone the pike and wouldn't or couldn't let go 😀

the same thing happ. at a lake we went to in canada last year. Might of been the same story. I believe the musky was 52 inches and bob mehsikohmer was up there and they went and helped this kid net it.

But i think he said it was a walleye that the ski grabbed
