Got replies back, saying will think about it. I mentioned the bigger size limit, bag limit, no spearing like WI.,MN., & Ont. Make MI. a muskie destionation like WI.,MN., & Ont. Has anyone contacted the St. Clair chapter about this and any other muskie clubs to get there support?

No spearing like WI, and MN?

I know a ton of lakes in WI and MN that are still very legal to spear in

certain area's i believe are outlawed in both states, but there are still plenty of lakes that allow spearing.

People talk about it frequently on posts on muskie first, but you can also find plenty of Spearing videos in MN and WI on youtube. Reading comments the people talk about what lakes and such they are on cause certain ones are legal

Pike spearing is legal in Minnesota, but not muskie and no spearing for pike in many lakes with muskies present. Wisconsin only allows tribal spearing, and pike spearing only in Lake Superior.

Yes, all Michigan muskie clubs got a similar email to the one all of you received.

I will be up on the Chip in a couple of weeks and will ask about spearing muskies. I'm pretty sure they can spear walleye and it affects what you can take daily. Every time I've been up there it's usually 3 per day and I think there is no size limit.
