Any suggestions? I'd kind of like it to be removable, so I can fish it either way. I'm thinking some kind of bucktail wire that I can shove through the back, and temporarily hook into the harness.

I've got some in the boat that I can show you that screw into the back of the bait. Basically it's 6" of bucktail wire w/ 4" made into a screw.

That'd be awesome. Thanks!

Here you go. After looking closer I think it's actually about 3" make the screw and 3" of straight wire.

Thanks,Will. Had a $20 gift cert. for Gander so stopped there today. Very disappointed. Didn't have any blades bigger than a #3, no wire, and they have 1 Bucher-tail left from their muskie stock. I spent my money on Plano boxes and weights instead.

Tried it, and it didn't work too well. The dawg just wanted to keep rolling over and over. Do you screw it in in front or behind the top fin? I also had a #10 blade on it. It was a Mag. When it did go straight, it looked pretty good though!

Placement (borrowed from <url url="[Permission to view this media is denied]

This does throw off the balance of the bait and can cause it to roll. You'll need to adjust how you fish it so that it doesn't roll.

The blade on the one I have is more like a #8.

I wanted to try the #10 for some more thump. I had it screwed in front of the top fin. I'll have to try behind it. I was also just slow rolling it. Haven't given up on it yet.
