MMA is officially operating as an independent non-profit organization effective 1/1/2020. We are hoping to transfer all members from the old Chapter 47 to the new Michigan Muskie Alliance. It is our intention to honor your commitment to Muskies Inc. by compensating your paid memberships to Muskies Inc. in the first year of our new venture. New yearly membership dues will be $25/year. The new renewal date for all members will be the first weekend in March, at the annual MMA banquet, so current members will be comped accordingly.

If you renewed your Muskies Inc membership before March 1, 2019, your new membership fee will be $25
If you renewed from March 1 – May 31, it will be $20
If you renewed between June 1 – August 31, it will be $15
If you renewed between September 1 – November 31, it will be $10.
Any renewals from December 1st, thru the banquet will be free for the 2020 membership year.

Thank you for continuing your support of Michigan Muskie Alliance.

Not to long ago I did a 3 year Muskies Inc. renewal. So I'll do a 3 year at the banquet. Just got a Muskies Inc. calendar today, they'll have to wait a long, long time for money for it!! šŸ™„

There isn't a family membership. All members under 17 in a household are included and can/should be listed for each household.

All MMA memberships are renewed annually, there isn't a three year membership with the new MMA.

I really appreciate the effort that MMA leadership has put in this past year to make this an independent organization. Thanks to all! [smilie=2thumbsup.gif]

Can I assume that any $$ sent that are above the membership fee will be handled as a donation? Seems an obvious "Yes", but with new organizational processes being ironed out I don't want to assume anything.

We are officially a 501c3 (non-profit) organization… but that is certainly something I would ask my accountant about [smilie=2thumbsup.gif]

Since I renewed my Muskies Inc membership in September from what I understand my 2020 MMA membership is 10$. Does that mean if I get the Regular with MMA membership at the banquet I would pay 45$ instead of the 60$. I’m figuring 35$ for the regular banquet sign up and 10$ for membership.

That sounds correct. We will have all the membership info at the banquet. If you'd like to take advantage of the proration, please let us know. It will also be considered when sending invoices for online/early payment. Thanks for asking!
One other thing to remember is that you will still technically be members of Muskies Inc.
