I am from the general area and will look into this. Steve, that was a good idea with the Moose, American Legion etc. Do we have any members of the Moose, Eagles, Elk, etc.? There has got to be something not too far away. I will do my best!
Let me know what you find out. If you find something that might work let me know and I'll talk with them.
I've been working on this for a few months and haven't found anything that will work. Well… that's not exactly true I've found a couple places but I'm not going to pay $500 to hold a lure swap.

[quote="hemichemi"]Have you thought about Cabelas? They have a banquet/conference facility, I think.
I didn't think they had anything but I'll check w/ them. They sure don't advertise it or promote it.
2nd floor past the stairs to the left, several conference rooms I believe. I stumbled on to them while looking for Kevin doing a fly tying demo.

I think there needs to be a new topic to let us know whats going on. theres 2 different swaps?? If there was info on the who, what, when and where there would probably be more participation….just sayin. I know Ive got a big ol box o lures to get rid of for cheep and got a pocket of coins burnin a hole in my pocket. and december 3 is only 2 1/2 weeks away and I havent seen anything about either swap.
I'll jump the gun here and volunteer for the Saturday Muskie show in Feb. For the Muskie Swap Dec 3rd at Trippers in Lansing, I have some film boxes from work. They are 4" wide, 4" high by 1.5", there black plastic with a lid that snaps shut. There great for screws and stuff like that, parts for lure making. I'll bring a box full, take what you want I can always get more.
