I've got 3 joint lures that just go round and round when I troll them. They keep snaging up on my other lines. I'm running them on a 6 ft leader. Do I need to run them on a shorter leader? Or do I have to bend the eye some way to make them run right.

Thanks

Bend the eye slightly in the direction the lure needs to go, then test and repeat until it runs correctly.

Also on a jointed lure, check the joint to make sure the body and tail are lined up correctly. Actually, before you begin tuning check the tow eye and hook hangars to make sure they're all straight. Once you have checked for anything obvious then start th etuning process by bending the tow eye in the direction it needs to go.
