Question for the local guys with more experience on LSC. I've had an LSC casting trip planned for this weekend for awhile and I fully expect most of the main lake to be 80+ and unfishable. I am wondering how the channels on the north end usually hold up in these big heat waves? What should I expect and be looking for water temp wise? Thanks.

it's more so a problem if the temps 5-10 ft below the surface are really warm, if u just water release and cut the hooks u should be fine

Temps are ranging from 73-80 in shallow areas and 65-69 in channels. Any channel mouths will be in the 68-70 range and there's plenty of water to fish without worrying about 80 degree temps. Plus were only talking surface temps.
