Hey guys, my girlfriend and I are going to LSC on Monday (15th) and are planning on staying overnight on Sunday. Wondering if anyone has some recommendations on hotels around that area (launching at Saint Clair Shores most likely). Doesn't have to be right next to LSC, but looking for something within 20-30 minutes and not looking to spend a ton of money either as we will driving up Sunday night and waking up early Monday morning. Most importantly though, looking for something safe and comfortable for the girlfriend.

There are a bunch right by the freeway in Roseville that are supposed to be ok. Haven't stayed there but have heard the Baymont is boat friendly.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Roseville about a month ago. It was ok but the parking was kind of a pain and I had to unhook the boat and leave it around the corner from my room and my truck. The only way to charge the boat was to run a super long extension cord (luckily I had two with me) from the second floor room down around the corner and down to my boat. The area seemed safe though and price wasn't too bad, plus it put us only about 5 min from Crocker.

I also stayed at a Holiday Inn Express earlier this year in Roseville. That was very nice, tons of parking, outlets outside to charge boat, and a free breakfast in the morning. The breakfast even had a pancake vending machine that was pretty sweet. The only issue was it was almost twice as much as the Red Roof ($120 compared to $70 for two bedroom) so if you're looking more for something cheaper like I normally am it's probably not the best option.

I'll throw my 2 cents in for the Baymont too. It's no frills but clean, cheap and has decent access in the parking area to charge the boat bateries.

Sounds like Baymont is the way to go. Sorry, should have said we are going with a guide so no need for boat access. Thanks for all the input!
