Any specific boat regulations for LSC? My brother and I want to hit it a couple times this summer and want to be fully prepared. We will definitely be careful and not risk anything, but am still planning on buying a flare/signal kit to go along with life jackets, whistle, fire extinguisher, etc. What else do I need? A Marine Radio maybe?

You have the requirements covered, additional items are just "nice to have".

Oh I have plenty of medussas and dawgs itching to get wet out there [smilie=biggrin.gif]

I prefer throwing baits i have never caught a fish on in our inland lakes.. always works and actually gives me confidence to use them in inland lakes then i come back to reality after fishing the big trout pond

Coast guard will ask you for a approved throwable devise as well. I just got boarded out there last week, I passed, yippee. 🙄
