Some friends want to visit and go perch, yes perch, fishing on Lake St. Clair in September. They heard that there is a really good bite and they want some meat. Anyone have knowledge of this or tips on a guide that specializes?

Fish the mile rds if temps start to cool. Or just look for stack of boats cramped up in the deep mid-lake water if things still stay hot.

Like Scott said, just send them out and have them look for a big flotilla of boats in the morning and go get in with them.
