It was tough fishing yesterday. I went out from 700 to 1500. Casted my spots l like had one lazy fallow from a small 30. High bright sunny day with almost a flat calm lake makes for tough fishing. Wind started from the north and switched to due east in the early afternoon. Water temp was 64 to 65.

Same here action was slow yesterday. Caught 1 small one & 4 follows weeds by the spillway are way behind & there was a ton of nasty debris out in front of 400 club with muddy water. I think the recent wind pushed a bunch of stuff along the west side of the lake.

I'm still too frustrated at the internet, captains and muskie fishermen in general to post a report, maybe tomorrow. I do have a couple nice pictures of two boats that came within less than a cast and cut us off that I could share…

A shame Captain's would come that close…

Same story here..fished hard on Sunday. Had a bunch of follows but no decent sized fish to brag about and we covered a lot of water. The crowds have gotten insane out there.

It was tough fishing, not many fish caught on the entire lake this weekend. Fished Saturday and Sunday, moved a few fish but no bites. Only moved one nice one (4 footer)

It will come around, it always does. Don't believe everything you hear when people tell you LSC is so easy a monkey can catch a 50 out there. I know a lot of really good fisherman out there that struggled this weekend.

I dont know if I would go that far… Lots of monkeys catching 50s out there, I've got the stats to prove it. What I mean by that is I've got almost as many 50+ out there as I do on all other lakes combined in about 1/10th the hours.

I would agree that there are a lot of people catching 50" fish out there. They are still muskies and you still have to catch them. They don't jump in the boat…the fisherman that fishes LSC a lot and catches multiple 50" fish every year is a lot different than the guy that goes on a guided trip for a day and catches one. That is also the beauty of the fishery right now. A guy could get lucky and catch a trophy fish on his first trip.

I'm not disagreeing with your point, but I hate when people downplay a fishery because it's so good. Why would we not take full advantage of a fishery that produces that many trophy class fish. A 50" fish is a 50" fish in my opinion. I don't care if you caught one on your third day on lSC or if it took you 5 years to catch one on an inland lake.

I caught 2 by 730 on the opener. Both fish on rubber and all from the same area. About 1030 I had a monster swipe the tail of my bait that was about it for the day. I didn't measure either fish one was 38-40 the other was 30-32.
