Ha Ha Ha , I hate to say I told you so. [smilie=biggrin.gif] Guys we are testing a new Magnum claw that is in all aspects both a 9 inch Grandma and a 10 inch Jake. Its 9.5 inches , 5/8th thick and has one belly weight . Cedar, Lexan and the tough hooks that you guys all like. They are now being tested by Greg Marino and Linda Rice on Lac Suel. I also have 4 of them here [smilie=brows.gif] If the testing goes like I think it will Jakes and Grandmas better get tough or they will be crushed by our new lure. With other companie trying to cheap out we are going the other way. I feel that today quality is more important than ever. It sure sucks to have a new lure fall apart on your first cast. You guy have my word, I will never cut corners and cheapen our baits for cost sake. Mike and Michelle

i guess his is plastic, but its a much harder durable plastic than the new jakes i got i found out
Prolly and older one. The guys I deal with in Canada tell me that the new ones are not as durable as the older ones. They bust up real easy on the Canadian shield lakes. Marino asked me in Chicago if I would build a 10 inch Jake for them. I didnt want to copy them exact so I built one inbetween the Grandma and the Jake. It is a sweet runner both casted or trolled. So far the pike in My lake love them. Mike
