When I was at work plowing last night, I was listening to WCSX out of Detroit and they were doing a hour show on Les Paul. There is a tribute album coming out to him. It's a who's who of gutiar greats, Page, Beck, Slash, Neal Schone and on and on. Les is 93 years young and playing with these guy's. Let's give it up for the father of the electric guitar. I posted this, cause I know everyone on this site like's great tunes. Steve

malmsteen is pretty hot. I like a wide range of guitarists. Some of my favorites are very unknown. Country to advanced Jazz.I loved blues for years and even some of the hard core punk rockers could sling. One of my favorite sounding guitars of all time was Johnny Ramones Mosrite guitar. It had different pickups but it had a sound no one else had. The first grunge sound. There are several great country guitarists who play clean and fast. That is a rare thing to find. I can still listen to Beck for hours and hear things he did that I missed ,the man was and still is amazing. You have to love Billy Gibbons just for that Texas grunge blues. I saw them during the Fandango tour When I was a kid and at the Van Andel about 10 years ago. They were the best three piece band I ever saw. I havent played mine in several years. They are still packed away from the move. Someday maybe we all get together for a fish fry lure swap and jam session ha ha ha . Michelle plays Keys very well. she can sequence drums and Bass guitar. Mike
STEEN..IS GOOD…BUT….HE IS A BLACKMORE RIP-OFF.THE THING I DON`T LIKE IS ALL HIS(MOST)SOLOS HE BLOWS HIS WHOLE WAD ON THEM AND THEY SOUND THE SAME.SOME OF HIS MORE INTRICATE AND ACOUSTICAL STUFF IS AWESOME STUFF.NEVER COULD FIGURE OUT HOW HE ZINGED 100 NOTES A SECOND ON A SOLO UNTIL I SAW HIM ON A ON DEMAND GUITAR LESSON EPISODE…TRICKS AND GIZMOS..
