I store all mine in a Plano 3630 box:

” />
I coil the fluoro ones into a 2"-3" dia loop, and make my wire leaders so they fit when layed straight, which makes them about 14" or less.
I use the rest of the box to keep some tools, snaps, splitrings, swivels, etc.

Anyone have any ideas of how to store wire leaders in the 18-20" range?
IMO this is the best way to store leaders of any type:

[quote="Jim tenHaaf"]Now that's fancy. What are they, and where can you get them?
Clear plastic shipping tubes. They're not easy to find, most places online require a minimum order of 50-100.
Seems like we got at least 4 or 5 here that would be interested. What about a group order?

Straight wires go in a PVC tube with capped ends, flouro leaders are looped and go in individual 4×6" zip baggies. I write the date made and length of each flouro leader on the bag to avoid using flouro that's more than a year old.
PVC from the hardware store and the baggies are found in the craft section of any Wallmart. (But if you make your own crawler harnesses then go to Micheals(sp) craft store. They have the BEST selection of cheap beads and different size baggies.)
If you want your flouro totally straight try holding it stretched under hot tapwater in the sink. If you have really long braided wire (trolling leaders) try cutting a 6" piece of one of those 5' styro tubes people use when swimming in pools and lakes. Wrap the leader around the tube and hold in place with small nails. Keep that tube of long leaders in a ziplock baggie.
