Hey guys just needed to vent. I took my dad on a sturgeon charter this weekend and figured I would check out the Muskie action while I was there since I have never fished LSC. Anyway the first day out we went for muskie on the canada side and didn't get anything but weeds plus the captain got seasick so we came in early. The next morning we tried again on the US side but with the same results. That evening we went for Sturgeon and things went a little better we didn't get any sturgeon but they were jumping near us. My dad wants to try for sturgeon again, does anyone know someone that fishes them? And I would like to fish LSC again if anyone has an open seat sometime.

Wait a minute… The captain of the charter got seasick, so you had to call it an early day??!!
And I know of a couple guys who do the sturgeon thing. From what I've heard, guys just use a big single hook wrapped up with nightcrawlers and put it on the bottom of the SCR in some of the deeper holes. Sounds easy, I guess… Always wanted to try it as well.
