I'll be there at the crack o' dawn, and stop for the meeting. I'm sure whatever works for you will be fine, although if there's a bass tournament there that day, they frequently end at noon and the launch gets crowded then.
Are we still meeting by the launch? There's not much room to beach/dock a lot of boats there. It worked out well having it at the beach in May…. and there're picnic facilities and bathrooms there, and room to beach quite a few boats.
Weather looks to be sunny and 69°F for Saturday. Here comes Fall… [smilie=2thumbsup.gif]
I really wanted to come to this, but I'll get myself in trouble. Next week I'm leaving for a week of fishing in cheesehead land and a day at Webster on the way back. So I guess I'd better get myself together. But when I come back I'm going to the Murray outing. Can someone put the map of Murray up again with directions. From all the post's I see on Murray it's as clear as gin. What is recommended as good colors, will be first time there. How big is the lake and is it maybe no-wake? Thanks, Steve

Are we meeting at noon and then fishing, or are we fishing in the morning and meeting after, or is it any of the above? Either way I'll be there.
Fish when you can, before or after or both.
I didn't remember setting a meeting time until I looked at the newsletter – DUH. Lets play it by ear and see what's going on there that day. I like Hemi's idea of the swim area for a noon meeting.

Anyone that is going to be fishing Ovid on Saturday please remember we would like to get tags into any fish caught.
I'll be wearing my orange HEMI hat.
If you see me nearby and catch a fish, flag me down…

As of the time I was out on the water(1030-130), there were 2 fish caught. Jim tenHaaf caught a 32" and Will caught the other. I saw one go after something at the surface but didn't get a close look. The fish were shallow. Meeting was scrapped due to only 3 boats being there. Nice day to be on the water though. On a good note, I got to try out my Abu 7000 C3 and it rocked!
Only 3 boats showed up: me with Jim, Will and his Dad, and Esox and his wife. Then Chuck S. phoned from the beach asking where everyone was.
Will's Dad caught a fish I'd tagged at the end of June.
BTW Esox, did you lose anything yesterday? I found something floating today that probably came from a muskie fisherman… and I doubt it was Will's.
