When i was in college i didn't have the money to spend on the premium brewed beers, but now that im done i enjoy whatever.
I have had a lot of the beers mentioned here and they are all good, but i also got to taste test my friends beers before they opened their brewery and i think ive tried enough styles to make my head spin.
They have stuff from a really good double IPA to stuff for those into Hard Cider. like 9.25%, enough for one glass to make you feel buzzed

HAHAHA we have exact opposite tastes in beer. I have never heard of any of these beers in the post, I hate Founders, and I love Coronas/Bud Light/Bud Light Lime. Ryan, do you go to HopCat at all?
Actually until now I have never heard of "Hopcat". I'm assuming it is a brewery? Sounds like something I might like.
I actually just picked up another of my goose island favorites for tonight for some after dark walleye fishing.

This is probably the best beer I have ever had. Right from the tap in Frankfurt Germany. This is when I established an appreciation for the reference to German beer being so good.

I agree Chad, I miss in-country beer from the tap..these 2 were readily available on base and off, and were a dietary staple during my stay, and in the desert they sold an alcohol free version of the Bitburger, I couldnt bring myself to drink that stuff. [smilie=2thumbsup.gif]

[quote="Will Schultz"]You can add your favorite wine cooler or Mikes lemonade too if you want… [smilie=fear.gif]Just messin w/ you J – real beer isn't for everyone.
I did forget Smirnoff ice and Zima [smilie=biggrin.gif] I've just never really had the 'real' stuff and simply love Coronas too much to switch. The MMA outing at the Antrim Chain might be a good time for me to try some of these 'real' beers.
Nah, outings are best remembered by drinking the beer conasuir's favorite, Pabst and Old Milwaukee. Did I miss any others?
Miller guy. Have you SEEN the Miller girls??!!

OK, the girls are smokin… But Miller? C'mon Jim, you need to expand your horizons…
Sorry, man. I just don't have a lot of interest in alchohol, really. When I was younger… yeah! I'll bet that I've drank more when I was 19 & 20, then 21-30. Example: New Years Eve. Dec 31,2009. I still had 3 beers left in November, 2010. That's after my wife and I "split" a 6 pack.
Last week I tried Hopslam and Huma Lupa Licious. Neither was disappointing, loved them both, but I'd have to give the nod too HHL. Plus it's cheaper and available all year. Might have a new favorite. Now I gotta try hopsmouth, by Arcadia. It's almost like you guys are getting in my head and making me drink. I hear voices! ('[smilie=biggrin.gif]')
I also agree with "essoxonthefly" when it comes to Sam Adams. It's hard to beat good ole Boston Lager and it can be bought anywhere.
