I've got a couple tails w/ mag 8's just like the Jr Cowgirl and there's only a minimal difference in how much they pull and not the huge difference in how they look in the water. I haven't used them much so far and I'm still up in the air if I really need them in the boat.
The double showgirls (great bait) are different than the Jr. DCG.
Have (1) Jr. Cowgirl and thought it might be a good Spring bait but I had no luck with it. I have Jr's, regular double cowgirls and Supermodels and have only had fish hit the regular double cowgirls.
The Supermodel is just a beast and a real workout to throw and I just got a XXX St. Croix heavy rod and a Abu Garcia 7001I (see link) to throw real big baits. This setup helps but it is still a good workout.
