So I'm catching the CBS local news out of K'zoo at 5pm today, and there's MMA's Jason V. speaking on behalf of the new GR Cabela's grand opening. Gotta' kick out of seeing that and great job on those quotes on camera, Jason!
Now we're counting on you to climb the Cabela's corporate ladder and provide MMA huge discounts on fishing tackle and firearms stuff too!
Ugh, I was hoping no one would see it haha. Speaking of Cabela's though, we do have a good size musky section with quality baits. It's an entire aisle of Musky Mayhem, Musky Innovations, Bucher Tackle, Suicks, Medussas, and even stealth leaders. We don't have Jakes, Hellhounds or Triple Ds yet but we are working on getting those so I will keep people updated. We also have some St. Croix Legends, Musky Innovations and other rods along with 80-100lb powerpro, Calcuttas, Revos, Tranxs, etc.
A really nice part of working there is the opportunity for education; I've given a couple musky demos with Tom Dietz and we're getting a lot of interest and questions from the other workers. Most of them seem really open to learning more about muskies so I can definitely see a lot of good coming from the store. We also have a nice conference room which is open to doing seminars or hosting meetings.

I'm not sure if he has joined yet, but I've definitely forwarded the registration form to him online. I'll make sure to talk with him today about the banquet to see if he can make it.
And just letting every one on here know there is a special opening on Wednesday for Cabela's Club Card members or people applying for the club card. Basically you can shop at the store before the Thursday Grand Opening as long as you have a Club Card or if you apply for one at the door when you walk in. If you plan on going to this and applying for a club card, please PM me and I will give you more information. Not trying to sell/push anything here just letting you guys know about an early oppurtunity to shop at the store before the 6,000 people estimated on Grand Opening.
