Doesn't it seem like every Lower MI opener has some sort of adverse weather condition? I remember very few openers that I've fished in Northern Lower where we had stable weather… I remember an opener that was about 15 degrees in the morning and everything in my boat was icy… many openers with 20+ mph winds… had so much rain and hail one time that we had to run the bilge for a really long time. Never seem to get that day that is SW winds 5-10 with a warming trend. Not whining… just sayin… Looks like just some wind this year with a warming trend BUT… some really cold water temps. It makes it fun, adjusting from one year to the next.
No real point to this post I guess… Just babbling because I'm excited that I will be fishing muskies real soon.
